Calendar of Events for 2010

Saturday, July 10, 2010 - Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. The Pennsylvania Pump Primers will hold their annual Antique Fire Apparatus Show and Muster from 8 am to 4 pm in Riverfront Park, across from Harrisburg Hospital. Admission is free. The site offers excellent access to the Susquehanna River for riverside mass pumping, as well as a shady park setting for show apparatus and a flea market. It has been called one of the best muster locations in the country and is capable of staging over 100 rigs along the river for mass pumping, with room for more than 50 on static display. Saturday, July 17, 2008 - The Deale Volunteer Fire Company in Deale, Maryland is having their annual Firefighters' Parade. Line up and registration begins at 5:30 pm. The parade starts at 6:30 pm. August 7 , 2010 - York Springs, Pennsylvania. The York Springs Fire Co. is hosting the 2010 Adams County Volunteer Emergency Services Association Convention from August 5 thru 7. The parade is on August 7. For additional information Click Here.

Sunday, August 15, 2010 - Millville, New Jersey. The Glasstown Antique Fire Brigade presents their annual muster and firematic flea market at the Wheaton Arts and Cultural Center.(856-825-6800). Monday, September 6th, 2010. (Labor Day) - The Greenbelt Labor Day Festival Parade will take place at 10:00AM to noon. It will start at the Buddy Attick Park (Greenbelt Lake) and proceed to Roosevelt Center. Groups of all types are invited to participate. CASH prizes! Owners of antique fire apparatus are STRONGLY encouraged to participate.
Antique Firetrucks will be the FIRST units to go through the parade!

Check-In Information: Please report to the parade check-in center between 8:30 am and 9:00 am. It will be located at the entrance of Buddy Attick Park at the corner of Kenilworth Avenue (MD 201) and Crescent Road.  You will be assigned a parade unit number at this time.  The parade starts promptly at 10:00 a.m. Here's a picture from Last Years Parade.

Saturday, September 11th 2010 - Maryland Fire Museum. "Cruisin' For Our Heroes".
Antique motor fire engine muster & car show, in conjunction with the County Sheriff's Annual Salute to County Fire, Police, EMS & Military Personnel for all they do for the County. Show starts at 10:00am and runs until 2:00pm. Event includes equipment demonstrations, fire engine rides, police/flea market, food vendor, kids activities, and more.

Sunday, September 26th, 2010 - CAFAA will host its Annual Fall Muster and Picnic on Sunday, September 26, 2010 at the Maryland Sunrise Farm in Gambrills, Maryland. (Formerly the Naval Academy Dairy Farm). Fire related activities will include pumping, static displays, and demonstrations. This is a free event. No registration is required. Please contact one of the names listed below, so we can get an idea whose attending and how much food to prepare. Everyone should bring a dish. The club will provide hotdogs, burgers and soda. Also, there will be hay rides and a corn maze put on by the folks who run the old Dairy Farm. The Muster starts @ 9 AM. Rain or shine.
