1967 International Pumper



James Karcher's 1967 International R-185-6 Pumper.
The body was made by Darley. Unit has a 750 gpm pump and a 500 gallon tank.
The engine first served at the U.S. Coast Guard's Reserve Training Center in
Yorktown, Virginia. Sometime in the 70s it was transferred to the U.S. Coast Guard
Yard at Curtis Bay, MD. It was retired from very active reserve duty in 1999 or 2000,
but remained at the shipyard until sold by the General Services Administration in June
of 2002. James has owned this rig since then.
