One of the largest display of fire fighting equipment in the nation can be seen during the Firefighters' parade, at 5 pm. Also the 7th Annual Fire Truck Rodeo will be held the same day. 1 – 2 May 2010 - Columbia, California 51st annual Fireman’s muster in historic state park of Columbia. Presented by the Columbia Volunteer Fire Department Engine Co. #1. Featuring working Antique Fire Engines from before 1850 through the 1950’s. Columbia is the home of volunteer fire crews from around the western United States. These men and women travel to the park to participate in a variety of events designed to test their skills in modern and historic fire fighting endeavors. Hose cart races, bucket brigade competition and hand pumper contests are just a few of the events scheduled. There is a parade on Saturday and a dance that night.
