Updated 10/05/2025 10 October 2025 - Westmont, Illinois Westmont Fire Department Silent Parade. The Westmont Fire Department will be participating in the annual Silent Parade on Friday, October 10, 2025 at 7 p.m. The parade, which is part of National Fire Prevention Week, is dedicated to firefighters and fire victims who have lost their lives due to fires. The Silent Parade will start in Hinsdale and then travel west on Chicago Avenue through Westmont. The route then continues on Naperville Road and eventually ends in Lisle. The public is invited to attend and stand along the parade route holding a flashlight in honor of those who lost their lives.

11 October 2025 - Trevorton, Pennsylvania Trevorton Fire Company, in conjunction with the Trevorton Fall Festival, will be hosting its 125th Anniversary. We invite you to join us for a parade through Trevorton. Rain date 10/12. Registration & judging will start at 8 AM at the Zerbe Township Sewer & Recycling Plant, located 1350 Susquehanna St. Please enter at the intersection of State Route 225 and Susquehanna Street. 18 October 2025 - Staten Island, New York National Fallen Firefighters Foundation (NFFF) and the Fire Department of the City of New York (FDNY) will honor our post-9/11 heroes in a solemn tribute at the College of Staten Island, The City University of New York, Sports & Recreation Center (Building 1R). Ceremony will honor the memory of 176 FDNY members who lost their lives to illnesses related to their response to the 9/11 terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center. The service will include tributes, reflections, and moments of remembrance to pay respect to their sacrifice and legacy. 6 June 2026 - Westminster, Maryland The Chesapeake Antique Fire Apparatus Association, a chapter of SPAAMFAA, will host their Annual Maryland Antique Fire Apparatus Spring Muster at the Pleasant Valley CFC in Carroll County, MD. We encourage all apparatus owners to attend. Each pre-registrant will receive one participation plaquefor each paid registration. The Pleasant Valley Auxiliary will have breakfast and lunch food available for purchase. There will be complete restroom facilities in the fire station. There is a fire brewing at the 37th annual Red Power Round Up 2026 and we are calling for all international Harvester fire units to respond! This is a Red-hot event we are putting together to celebrate our countries 250th anniversary! With that we have a big goal of 250 IH vehicles to the event! Big goal but I think it can be done!! 250 for 250 is what we are calling it! If you have a IH fire truck, ambulance or other first responder binder we'd love to have it up!!
