It is strongly advised that you contact the sponsors of these events to be certain
they are still scheduled. Bad weather, lack of participants and vendors may cause

 “Fire Trucks to the Rescue” is a exhibit coordinated in Denver with the Forney Museum of Transportation, produced with 
the cooperation of Mile High Hook & Ladder, the Colorado SPAAMFAA chapter.
The exhibit features 12 antique and classic engines owned by MHH&L members and the Forney Museum.  This museum 
is a Denver treasure, and includes motorized vehicles as well as locomotives and train cars.  The exhibit began Nov. 2 
and runs through May 1, 2023.  The Forney is located at 4303 Boulevard, in the RiverNorth “RiNo” District one mile 
northeast of downtown Denver.

International Firefighters’ Day (IFFD) is a time where the world’s community can recognize and honour the sacrifices 
that firefighters make to ensure that their communities and environment are as safe as possible. It is also a day in 
which current & past firefighters can be thanked for their contributions.
International Firefighters’ Day is observed each year on 4th May. On this date you’re invited to remember past 
firefighters who have died while serving our community or dedicated their lives to protecting the safety of us all. At the 
same time, we can show our support & appreciation to the firefighters world wide who continue to protect us so well 
throughout the year.
By proudly wearing & displaying blue & red ribbons pinned together or by participating in a memorial or recognition 
event, we can show our gratitude to firefighters everywhere.
The IFFD ribbons are linked to colours symbolic of the main elements firefighters work with – red for fire and blue for 
water. These colours also are internationally recognized as representing emergency service.

On May 6 and 7, our nation will pause to honor 145 fallen firefighters at the 42nd National Fallen Firefighters Memorial 
Weekend. We will remember 80 firefighters who died in 2022 and 65 who died in previous years.
The National Fallen Firefighters Candlelight Service will be on May 6 at 7:30 pm ET, and the National Fallen Firefighters 
Memorial Service will be on May 7 at 10:00 am ET. Both events are open to the public and will be live-streamed on the 
homepage of the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation’s website, NFFF’s YouTube Channel, and

to enjoy this once-in-a-lifetime celebration.

14 - 16 July 2023, Coudersport, Pennsylvania
2023 Eliot Ness Fest, noon Friday to 2 pm Sunday.  Downtown Coudersport is the location of this festival celebrating the 
historical and cultural significance of Eliot Ness in Coudersport. Hours are  Local merchants and historians will work 
together to take the heart of Potter County back to the Prohibition Era for a weekend.  The Fest is a salute to Law 
Enforcement and First Responders and owners of antique autos, firetrucks, police cars, and ambulances are invited to 
attend the Main Street Car Show.
There is no registration fee for antique vehicle attendance and all show vehicles will receive a dated Eliot Ness Fest dash 
plaque. Vendors & food trucks are invited to attend.

12 August 2023 - York, Pennsylvania
The West Manchester Township Fire Department will be hosting the Firefighters Association of York County 111th 
Annual Convention.  Parade (noon) from the Church of the Open Door located at 8 Carlisle Ct., and end at The West 
York Middle School on Bannister St.  Along with hosting the convention, this event will be a celebration of the 100 year 
anniversary for the Shiloh Fire Station and the 75 year anniversary for the Lincolnway Fire Station. Please join us in 
celebrating these significant milestones for both stations within our department. This event will be held at the York State 
Fairgrounds .
We will post the parade route, information and prices on memorabilia for sale and a list of food trucks on our Facebook

Greenville Department of Public Safety Annual Fireman’s Parade, held every 3rd weekend (Friday) in August.  Meet & 
Greet 6:30 pm. Parade at 8 pm.  Meet at Greenville High School 111 N. Hillcrest St.  
First round will be silent to remember/ tribute the fallen. The second round will be all light and sirens! 
We are looking for older fire apparatus to join our local fireman’s parade!

Ithaca Fire Dept., will be celebrating its 150th year.  
Friday the 18th we will be having a light parade, 8 pm with 7 pm lineup. 
Saturday the 19th we are wanting to have as many as possible antique fire truck show. Saturday morning will start at 
9 am with a Honor Guard ceremony opening. The day will be filled with fire truck rides, antique truck show, Sparky Fire 
Dog, DNR, MSP, Fire Prevention and Community Risk information stations. 
We are hoping that antique apparatus owners will attend and make this celebration really special.

Show/Muster.  Location: Carillon Historical Park, 1000 Carillon Blvd.,9:30 am - 4 pm.  One of the nation’s finest regional 
history museums with over 35 exhibit buildings & structures including the Wright Brothers National Museum.
We invite you to participate by displaying your antique fire apparatus.  Plaques will be awarded to each individual or 
organization displaying a pre-registered apparatus.  You must pre-register by August 18, to receive a plaque.  Bring the

29th Annual Jeffco Fire Engine Rally takes place at the Herculaneum City Park, 776 Joachim Ave., 10 am - 3 pm.
The rally begins with a parade of fire and EMS apparatus at 9:00 am. The parade will begin at  St. Pius X High School 
and travel north on Highway 61-67 to the fairgrounds in Herculaneum. At 10:00 am, the opening ceremony will begin 
with a memorial service and a special 9/11 memorial.  The rally will feature numerous fire apparatus and EMS vehicles 
on display, firefighter competitions, firefighter demonstrations, air rescue helicopters & numerous vendor booths. 
Numerous activities for children will include firefighter related games, a bounce house and inflatable maze, build it 
workshops by Home Depot and Lowe's, scavenger hunt, face paintings and a children's firefighter challenge. Fire 
department patch trading and selling will also be available. Food, drink and other concessions will be available for 
purchase. No alcohol is permitted. Awards for truck categories and competition winners will be presented at the closing 
ceremony. The event is open to the public and is free of charge.

30 September 2023 - Fleetwood, Pennsylvania
The Fleetwood VFC will be hosting a Housing and Parade in conjunction with Fleetwood's 150th celebration.
Please prepare to join the whole town as we celebrate 150 years. After the parade join us at the station for a beer garden 
and housing. After that walk to the park where there will be food and rides and the handing out of 28 awards for best 
appearing trucks.
Watch for details on new t-shirts for sale along with a limited-edition challenge coin commemorative.

Westminster FD 200th Anniversary Muster, 28 John St.  Parade lineup 9 am, 60 Monroe St., step-off 10 am.  We will go 
from Monroe Street,  to Pennsylvania Ave., to Main Street, to Longwell Ave., to Tuc Road, to Railroad Ave. (some rigs 
will exit the route from here to lots behind our firehouse), to Winters St., to John St., & then enter parking lot off John St.
Following the parade, all antique fire apparatus will be parked at Westminster FD & surrounding parking lots for viewing. 
Many activities will be happening for all to enjoy, including games, music, and multiple food trucks!
Apparatus registration is FREE. Registration due by noon on 9/30/2023.
